For Step-By-Step Guides Specific to Your Project

1 Circle around step number design detail

All work surfaces should be clean, dry; free of dirt, dust; debris, oils; un-adhered coatings, deteriorated membranes and other contaminants that may result in a surface that is uneven or not sound.

2 Circle around step number design detail

Clean the surface with RV Smart Cleaner and wipe down with acetone prior to the application of the Primer. Primer is extremely sticky, it is best to apply on half the surface leaving a work area to stand on. Apply Primer then top coating (ie. RV Roof coating) and then repeat on the other half where you can stand on the completed side.

Liquid Rubber Results

Son far so good. Used the cleaner, then primer, followed by sealant. My Rv is only 19 to 20 ft. I over ordered primer and cleaner. Only needed maybe 1/2 gallon cleaner,1/2 gallon primer and two gallons seal/topcoat would have done the job. I ordered 1 gallon cleaner, 2 gallon primer, 3 gallon Sealant. I think I ended up laying four layers of top coat over three days.
My only complaint is first gallon of primer had been leaking and was shipped in a bag to prevent primer from spilling out to shipping box. Second gallon ordered was ok.
Should last for years....

Pond issues

Loved using Liquid Rubber to coat my 20 year old pond liner! Easy to use and clean up was simply water! I also used it to coat the upper waterfall basin and waterfall that had developed significant leaking. Absolutely leak free now.
Would definitely recommend this product and have found other uses for it around the home.
