Used to seal around posts

The concrete deck I sealed has posts set into the concrete. It was obvious that previous attempts to seal the posts in the deck had failed. Caulking came away, letting water penetrate and freeze, cracking the concrete. I folded geotextile down the centre and fitted it around the posts, bonding it with liberal coats of Liquid Rubber. The geotextile spanned any gaps nicely and the combination shoukd provide flexibility for expansion and contraction. There were some cracks in the concrete deck I reinforced with geotextile as well. I still have more than half a roll I'm trying to find a use for.

Looks good, covers well

The product worked well, take the time to make a good seal. Caution: Wind can interfear and lift the geo-textile. I will send a few pictures to this email.

Very satisfied

Geo textile is very easy to use, just make sure that you buy enough to do the job. It can be used to cover imperfections as well as joints in plywood decks and flashing. Once a few coats of the deck coating has been applied the patch is barely noticeable.
