Precut Seam Tape to desired length and fit. Remove plastic backing before applying (be careful not to stretch the seam tape when removing the backing).
Apply Seam Tape to all seams at perimeter and protrusions (vents, skylights, etc. Use pressure to activate adhesive leaving no wrinkles or fish-mouths. Overlap separate pieces of Seam Tape by at least 1 inch.
Prime detail roof areas (not the Seam Tape) with the EPDM primer. When dry (tacky when cured), apply a heavy detail coat of RV Roof Coating over the Seam Tape to encapsulate (at least 1 inch beyond the edges of the Seam Tape). Allow to dry. Note: Instructions will be the same for most applications.
I call it the dream tape because it is by far the best team tape I have ever used. Ever! Whatever! That gets two! By the way so this is by far the best seam tape I put it on now you got to be careful putting it on you need two people, because it is extremely sticky unless you're doing small areas like a vent or window etc but I did a 24-ft trailer and my buddy and I run a straight line down it and I mean to tell you it is so good that my roof was leaking there were gaps in the metal I put this seam tape on and then rolled it with a steel roller, and it sealed it so good that my trailer went through a hurricane and didn't leak one drop it was drier than a popcorn fart inside. And I would recommend this seam tape to anyone who is buying it or looking. Do not go for cheap stuff it comes off it doesn't stick right but this stuff was incredible
This tape coated with liquid rubber make a strong flexible joint that push miles behind the regular caulking approach of seams waterproofing.
This composite material is similar to fiberglass it mix a fibrous tape with a liquid rubber that once hardened has strong adhesion but is much less prone to cracks and shrinking experience with old technique.
Easy to apply and sticks like crazy.
